Composite Solids:

In this image a composite solid is shown demonstrated by a house. A composite solid is a solid formed by two more solids. In this image the roof(in red) of the house is acting as one solid, which is a triangular prism. The base(in blue) is acting as the other solid, which is a rectangular prism. These two solids form together to make one composite solid. The picture was taken of my neighbors house in my community after school.

Regular Polygon:

In this picture there is a select club soccer ball. This object is important because on the outside of the ball there is several pentagons surrounding the outer foam. A pentagon is a polygon with 5 congruent sides, that creates 5 triangles inside the polygon. This image is significant because it portrays a pentagon on the front of the soccer ball. Each side of the pentagon is congruent on the soccer ball. These pentagons help the design of the soccer ball because when a soccer player kicks the ball, the foam pentagons help elevate and project the shot farther. The pentagons act as a puzzle on the ball, all matching up with each other like bee hives. I took this picture at my house yesterday. This object is used in the sport soccer and also as a ball to play around with.
